 Lay Lake Islands

Bullocks Island
This island lies along the main river channel just east of Wilsonville.

Buzzard Island
This island is good on the upper and lower side for both spotted and largemouth bass. There is a lot of structure both exposed and sunken around the island. Fishing is better where there is current but there are fish when there is no current.

Elliott Island
The upper end of the island has numerous stumps, shallow water and holds a lot of fish - both spotted and largemouth bass.

Prince Island
Similar to Smith Island, there is a lot of standing timber around this island. Many fishing tournaments are won around the upper and lower part. When there is current, the ends of the island are best; when there's no current, the sides will produce fish.
